First there was a dream. Then its visualization. Then letters from Ilya Shestakov, the founder of the Assistance Program. After the interview, my dream became closer and more real. And having agreed on a time, I went to the launch of our resettlement. I was met and fussed over, like a little girl, by Ilya’s wonderful assistant Yulechka Pogosova. Yulia organized everything: both my meeting and my accommodation at the hotel. Yulia accompanied me to all the necessary institutions and offices, helped with negotiations and communication, constantly consulted, advised and suggested various useful things, made sure that I did not go hungry, helped arrange my life. I had to come several times, and each time I realized that the Program was a strong friendly shoulder that I could calmly lean on. When I moved, my neighbors surrounded me with care and attention. A huge thank you to everyone!!!
HOORAY!!! I’M HOME!!! This is the view from my window. This is only from one terrace, and I have three.
Every morning I see the sea and a lot of sun. My mood jumps up, and, taking a morning shower, I hum joyful songs. I am overwhelmed with emotions. I charge myself with positive energy and go to discover the Russian Quarter first. This is our Emerald Bay.
Every day I eat a huge amount of different fruits. They are all ripe, juicy, aromatic. By the way, honey is very tasty where bees collect nectar from orange trees. Honey is called orange. See for yourself.
Every day, in addition to the beach, we attend some events. Our whole street went to the City Day.
We visited a chess tournament with our neighbors. And even took a photo with the mayor of the city.
We studied all the local educational institutions. And learned a lot more in just three weeks of our busy life in Northern Cyprus. By the way, next week I have every day scheduled. No time to be bored!
I am very happy that I moved. And of course, I am very grateful to the Resettlement Assistance Program. I will continue to describe my impressions in my blog.
