We would like to thank the Assistance Program, represented by Ilya and Olga Shestakov, for the warm welcome and organization of our move! Everything was just super, and detailed information support, and our personal consultation, and a clearly planned and carefully prepared viewing tour and excursions around the island, as well as transaction support and preparation of all documents for the purchase of an apartment.
We have known Ilya for quite a long time (in absentia), we have been reading his mailing list for a long time since its publication under the pseudonym “Ivan Krylov” (approximately since 2012). Today, we have not only information from the mailing list and the Assistance Program YouTube channel, but also our own experience, pleasant emotions from visiting Northern Cyprus and from excellent communication with wonderful people.
While the impressions are still fresh, I really want to highlight the viewing tour! Everything happened in the best possible way from the moment we met until the last day. Olga met us at the airport, took us and settled us in an apartment with all the amenities. Throughout the tour, she was our patient guide and translator. Every day at 9 am we went on another educational trip. On the second day, we visited the office of Prosperity Life Construction and the Compatriots Resettlement Assistance Program, where we met with Ilya and once again discussed all the necessary steps for moving and purchasing real estate. Then we paid for the transaction support, issued a notarized power of attorney to represent our interests in the tax office, police and land committee, after which we were taken to the microdistrict, where we visited the developer’s office, inspected our housing and the microdistrict, paid the first payment for our apartment in the accounting department. We were also introduced to other settlers who greeted us warmly and even allowed us to leave the things we took with us on our very first visit. In the following days we went shopping a lot and chose furniture and appliances together with Olga, who listened very sensitively and attentively to our shopping preferences, and we ended up in the most correct places. Our leisure time, at our request, was planned in a special way, since we were mainly focused on purchasing an apartment (signing a contract) and shopping trips.
During 4 days of close communication with the settlers and the island, we felt at home, and upon returning home we were again convinced that there are still paradises in the world worthy not only of attention, but also of unconditional trust!
