Our family of 3, dad, mom and 2.5 year old daughter. In October 2019, we came to Northern Cyprus to move into our apartment under the program for assistance to the voluntary resettlement of compatriots (PVRC)! We purchased the apartment through the company “Prosperity Life” having arrived for a viewing tour in March 2019. We are from the south of Russia, Krasnodar region, the city of Novorossiysk. This is the Black Sea coast. In the coming years, we plan to come to Northern Cyprus for the winter. We settled in the “Russian quarter”. The Program for Assistance to the Resettlement of Compatriots helped us a lot with the resettlement! On behalf of our entire family, we express our gratitude! Since when moving to a foreign country, not knowing the language and way of life of the local population, we really needed and appreciated support! From the very beginning, the Shestakov family provided us with extensive information support. I mean the video encyclopedia that Ilya Vladimirovich created on his YouTube channel. After watching his video stories and reading the mailing list, having arrived in this country, we were already familiar with a lot! And the letters and these videos also help a lot to decide on the choice of country. Personally, I am deeply grateful to him for the fact that he talks about this country at all, and he touches on all life moments, even the little things. And they, as you know, often turn out to be very important!
The Assistance Program really provides full support to relocating families: they helped us from beginning to end! They consulted us on everything, showed us the country and the sights, helped us choose housing and negotiate with the developer, assisted in the preparation of all the documents, met us at the airport – at each stage we felt calm and confident.
We ordered the design and complete furnishings of the apartment. But even at this point, you need to control the process yourself, being in another country, it is difficult to carry out high-quality control. But with the help of “Sodeistvie” everything was done well and on time! When we moved into the apartment, they met us at the airport, brought us home, helped us get a residence permit and even helped us change our driver’s license from Russian to Cypriot. Not knowing the language of this country, or English either, and not knowing the city, we had no idea how we would do everything? Thanks to Olga, we changed our Russian driver’s license to a TRNC license in just half an hour! We received answers to any questions we had. In any requests, Sodeistvie responded and helped us!
Moving even within your home country is always difficult! And to another country even more so. Without the help and support of PSDPSS, we would not have decided to move to this beautiful country with a wonderful climate!
We settled in the complex of the Russian quarter, there really are a lot of Russian-speaking people here! Very good infrastructure, already established over the years. I mean shops, a medical center, a kindergarten (by the way, from the moment we contacted them, literally 10 days later, our daughter already went to kindergarten), water delivery, cleaning of the apartment, if there is no time to clean ourselves. A luxurious SPA center, a children’s room, cafes and restaurants, a basketball court, a gym, a sauna, a heated pool, and just pools, a tennis court, slides, a trampoline and a super playground, which was recently opened! You can live without leaving our residential complex. Everything is here! Everything is nearby, everything is close and everything is convenient! The landscaping of this area is simply gorgeous, so pleasing to the eye! And another plus is the sea within walking distance! Very well-kept, the best beach on the island, equipped with children’s swings, and even swings for the disabled, exercise machines, a lawn, a bicycle and pedestrian path, bicycle rental (velocarsharing) and other beach paraphernalia!
Now we are pleased with the view from the window every day, no matter which way you look! On one side there is the sea, on the other mountains and fields, on the third a luxurious view of the courtyard with swimming pools, and in the evening these pools, and our entire complex has wonderful lighting!
Having contacted the Program for Assistance to the Resettlement of Compatriots to Northern Cyprus, our family was very pleased! I recommend it to everyone who wants to spend the winter here in their own home or is planning to move to Northern Cyprus!
